Solar hot water storage is typically 80-120 gallons allowing you to have an abundance of free solar hot water. Sun City Energy's drainback solar hot water system is designed to be virtually maintenance free and freeze proof. When the sun isn't shining, all water is drained from the collectors and piping automatically. Freeze protection is assured due to antifreeze in the collector(s) and piping. Your potable water in the tank never flows through the collector, eliminating corrosion or scale buildup from hard water. CopperStor Drainback Tank
Our CopperStor drainback tank is an advance in drainback tank design. Unlike other drainback tanks, ours is fabricated from seamless copper tubing with no ferrous metal components. It is impervious to corrosion and allows for direct sweated connections. Silver brazed joints ensure high strength and are not affected by low temperatures.
